After buying several cordless drills in the $69-$100 range, I was always disappointed. I'm not a construction pro, just use this for around the property projects. I don't know about the earlier reviews, maybe problems have been fixed since 2007-2008, but for $125 I have found this drill to be very powerful and sturdy, the chuck has never slipped and the batteries are not only powerful but last a long time and charge super fast. I am 100% satisfied with with the high quality construction and superior performance of this drill.
