I was thinking this would be a little more beefy than it is. Quite a good bit of plastic. It's lighter than what I'm used to. My biggest aggravation is that the clamps BARELY are able to grab a 1/4 sheet of sandpaper. If you miss cut that 1/4 sheet by 1/4", you'll not be able to use this sander. Even if it is the right size exactly, it's still hard to put into the clamps.
