Bought this to upgrade from a conventional miter saw. Checked it out before using and found that the saw blade was misaligned with the turntable. It would have damaged the turntable inserts and blade if I had started using it. Don't know because I never used it, but it would probably would not have cut straight.
Called Hitachi customer service and got no help on service or exchange. Get more detail about Hitachi C8FSHE 8-1/2-Inch Sliding Compound Miter Saw with Laser Marker.
